I came across this artist while researching for my artist presentation. He does some pretty great stuff. I especially liked his series titled “The Phenomenology of Shopping”

bham girls rock camp
Call for art! The creator of the bham girls rock camp is looking for art submissions to sell for fundraising. Anything really, and it doesnt necessarily have to be framed. Any prints you’ve made you don’t want or if you want to create something that has to do with a girls rock camp or bellingham.
Filters on the 35mm
My brother has been experimenting with filters on his 35mm camera – rather than altering the footage post production. Nice colors right? I’m sure I’ll end up posting more of his work, since he’s constantly sending me updates.
reading response
A few of the things I appreciated most from the assigned reading were the explanations of different lenses (I have multiple from past holidays and I slowly figure out how to use them and what they are to be used for), and the different formats cameras come in, plus the film. I have only worked with small format so it’ll be great to work with the holga camera soon. Figuring out the different parts of the camera (using the diagram in the book and in class) was good, building a language!
