SPENW Photography Conference

A small group of WWU photo/art students will be presenting at the 2010 Society for Photographic Education Northwest Regional Conference in Portland, OR!

The conference is not only a great chance to see fellow students in action, but also to experience what a great organization like SPE is all about:

“The Society for Photographic Education is a nonprofit membership organization that provides a forum for the discussion of photography and related media as a means of creative expression and cultural insight. Through our interdisciplinary programs, services and publications, the Society seeks to promote a broader understanding of the medium in all its forms, and to foster the development of its practice, teaching, scholarship and criticism.”

The conference will be held at the Newspace Center for Photography in Portland, OR from November 5-7, 2010.

For more information, check out the SPENW blog!
